Yaraandoo accommodates up to 40 people and offers a full range of accommodation styles. We accommodate special interest groups, corporate groups, functions, workshops, conferences and weddings. Our wide range of accommodations includes double/king rooms, twin rooms and triple rooms (double and single). In addition, we have the Moffat Falls Lodge and Moffat Falls Cottage, both with their own private waterfalls and The Little Styx River Cabins, which overlook the Little Styx River.

Self-Contained Family Area

The self-contained family area is an ideal base for a large group exploring the area. It sleeps 12 people over 4 bedrooms, boasts a kitchenette with a large games room, television, pool table and spacious sitting area. There is a toy box full of colourful things for the kids, and plenty of bush for them to explore. The rooms overlook the surrounding native gardens and bushland, with a fully undercover BBQ area. They feature beautiful mud brick walls. The rooms are heated with a hot water system that runs throughout the building. The bathroom facilities are shared. This area requires a minimum of two rooms and a two night stay.

Self-Contained Apartment

The Apartment is self-contained and benefits from lovely natural light, which spills in from the surrounding native gardens and bushland. It is perfect for a couple or small family, with a fold out couch at hand if necessary. The Apartment is heated with a hot water system that runs throughout the building. It boasts a kitchenette, television, spacious sitting area and is a short walk to the river and swimming hole. Easily booked for an overnight stay if travelling through the area.

Moffat Falls Cottage

Moffat Falls Cottage is a fully self-contained, one bedroom cottage overlooking Moffat Falls stunning waterfalls and mountains sleeping up to 2 people. The Cottage is ideal for a couple. Guests can spend their days with our guides fly-fishing for the elusive rainbow trout in the crystal-clear mountain streams or bushwalking in 55,000 ha of remote wilderness.

PLEASE NOTE – THE PIPES HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO FREEZE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. WE RECOMMEND YOU BRING WATER CONTAINERS AND FILL UP BEFORE GOING TO BED AT NIGHT AS BACK UP.

Attractions at Moffat Falls Cottage include: fly fishing for rainbow trout, learning the art of fly fishing with one of our experiences fly fishing guides, swimming in our crystal-clear swimming holes, visiting the Dutton Trout Hatchery, bushwalking in the six surrounding national parks including New England National Park with its famous Point Lookout viewing area, and over 20 kilometers of graded walking tracks through splendid beech forest and sweeping vistas of the eastern escarpment.  As well as visiting the nearby towns of Armidale, Dorrigo and Bellingen with their many art and craft shops and cafes.
