Our Weekend Fly Fishing clinics are designed for all levels of experience. This includes anyone who has never thrown a fly-line before, or those who have just started waving the long wand and need a little more guidance, right through to the experienced fly fishing lover.

These clinics teach the introductory aspects of overhead fly-casting and roll-casting, enough to give the beginner a realistic shot of landing their first trout on fly. Casting practice takes place on grassed areas and on a stocked dam, before moving on to fishing several local streams.

Yaraandoo is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities, workshops, make new friends, go trout fishing, bushwalking or just hang around the camp fire.

Please bring casual, comfortable clothes, warm clothes – the temperature is dropping in Ebor.

Waterproof, shoes; a wet weather jacket, long pants, gumboots, boots and toiletries.

It is cool in the mornings and evenings. The building and bedrooms are heated, and we provide all linen and towels.

If coming from Armidale or further west: Turn onto Waterfall Way heading East of Armidale towards Grafton, Coffs Harbour. Travel 69km until you get to Point Lookout Rd (sign says New England National Park & Dutton Trout Hatchery). Turn Right. Sign for Yaraandoo is 400 metres on the right.

If coming from the coast: Turn off the Pacific Hwy towards Bellingen and up the mountain to Dorrigo. Continue for 40 mins until you reach the big T intersection and turn left towards Ebor. Turn left 2kms after Ebor at the Armidale sign (still Waterfall Way). Travel 8 kms until you reach the signs for New England National Park & Dutton Trout Hatchery. Turn left into Point Lookout Rd for 400m then right into Yaraandoo. Please phone 0455 347 600 if you need more directions.
